Application Engineer
The Application Engineer at Cayuse is responsible for understanding, developing, modifying and supporting a broad range of information system solutions both inside and outside the company, often performing required duties with minimal supervision. The primary focus is the analysis, specification, development, deployment and support of production software technologies as a member of our Professional Services team. This team deploys and operates software products for large research institutions via SaaS delivery models. The Application Engineer reports to the Manager of Professional Services.
As a technical professional, the Application Engineer is expected to understand diverse business processes within our customer organizations as well as within Cayuse itself, and then participate with multi-disciplinary teams to creatively and deploy robust IT solutions to supporting those processes. The person in this role must exhibit high levels of professional initiative in determining appropriate priorities, determining when escalation of issues is required, and productively interact with both internal & external personnel.
