Smaller Research Enterprises Adopt Industry-Leading Cayuse424 for Improved Funding Productivity and Electronic Submission to Grants.gov

Portland, Oregon: Cayuse, Inc., an industry-leading provider of grant proposal solutions for educational and research enterprises, announced the addition of two more customers. The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) and the Center for Research To Practice (CR2P) have signed agreements for Cayuse424 to prepare, approve, and submit federal research grants to Grants.gov. Both institutions benefit from the scalability and flexibility of Cayuse’s hosted solution, and derive the same system benefits enjoyed by Cayuse’s large research customers.

UCA will deploy the system to its approximately 50 scientists and researchers who prepare and submit proposals to federal funding agencies such as the NIH and the NSF. With Cayuse424 in place, the Sponsored Programs Office significantly increases in its ability to support, validate and submit research proposals for the University, resulting in a more stable and predictable level of sponsored funding. A suite of management tools provide visibility over grant proposal activity for the entire institution.

"It is important to us that we provide the best level of service possible to the researchers and instructors at UCA," said Charlotte Cone, Assistant Provost. "We were very gratified to learn that Cayuse was flexible enough to provide their solution to a school our size."

"Cayuse is keen on fostering collaboration amongst the smaller and medium-sized research institutions, and this is reflected in our pricing for this market," said Christian Harker, president of Cayuse, Inc. "We want to offer the entire U.S. research community the benefits of a system normally purchased by very large research institutions."

With its flexible web-hosted architecture, Cayuse plans to deploy Cayuse424 to the Center for Research To Practice within a few weeks of purchase. The system’s easy-to-learn user interface and web-based training ensures that the researchers and administrators can start creating and submitting research proposals almost immediately.
