Collaborate with Cayuse 424 and Subawards.com

Federal funding agencies encourage research collaboration. Cayuse provides easy-to-use Web-based tools that support collaboration on proposal development, validation and submission to Grants.gov.

Collaboration with Subcontractors Cayuse makes it easy for Cayuse customers and their subcontractors to prepare, validate, share and submit proposal data in a Web application. Cayuse customers can import subaward proposal data three ways.

Prepare and Share Subawards Subawards.com extends the power of Web-based proposal development to the subcontractor network of Cayuse customers and beyond. Subawards.com is a free service that allows anyone to complete the SF424RR Budget form online in a Web browser.

With a free account on Subawards.com, subcontractors can complete and send fully validated budget forms to their prime proposal collaborators. The application delivers the same robust budget calculations, error-checking, auto-filling of forms, and reusable data found in Cayuse 424. Subcontractors send a subaward data file to Cayuse customers, who can import the subaward budget into their main proposal with a few clicks.

Subawards.com also prints a visually accurate PDF version of the SF424RR Budget form, which can be used for internal reviews, and can be sent to non-Cayuse customers.

Import From Grants.gov's Adobe Forms Cayuse sites can also import subaward data directly from the Adobe forms. If you create a subaward in the old-fashioned method of downloadable forms, Cayuse 424 will import the data. The data does not have the benefit of the sophisticated validations and error correction performed by Subawards.com, but the budget numbers will flow into the prime proposal and roll up to the master budget.

Collaborate Within and Between Cayuse Sites Organizations using Cayuse 424 can create and send subaward proposals back and forth to each other, taking advantage of the validation engine at both ends to ensure accuracy and speed in the collaboration process. Subaward proposals and the associated budgets are integrated directly into the prime proposal with a few clicks, eliminating the need for redundant data entry and off-system budget calculations.
